Do I need a BT telephone line to get Sky broadband?

You need a BT compatible telephone line to use Sky broadband, though you do not have to be a BT customer. We check this when you order. If you are moving from a different telephone company or have recently moved to a new house, you need to be the registered owner of that telephone line. We suggest you wait 24 hours after your telephone line has been activated before signing up for Sky Broadband.
